Prepared for Labour & Beyond

Part 1: Prepare for More Than Just the Baby – Prepare for You

Your Baby’s Nearly Here — But What About You?

You’ve planned the nursery, chosen the travel system, and packed the hospital bag. But there’s one essential thing left to prepare for: your recovery.

The first part of this workship is about empowering  you — the new mother for your recovery. While antenatal classes prepare you for labour and baby care, this session focuses on your body, your healing, and your well-being.

You’ll be guided through  simple, effective ways to support your postnatal recovery, including:

  • Nourishing your body with the right foods

  • Restoring your posture and core connection

  • Safe lifting techniques for everyday life

  • Mastering pelvic floor exercises  mum using pregnancy ball

  • Thinking about your support network and who you can ask for help from (You really don’t have to be super mum & do it all)

Why Wait? Set Yourself Up to Thrive, Not Just Survive

In the whirlwind of early motherhood, it’s easy to lose sight of your own needs. But with the right tools and support in place before baby arrives, you can start this new chapter feeling more confident, strong, and supported.

  • Near the end of your pregnancy and want to feel ready for the early postnatal days?
  •  Confused by pelvic floor exercises or not sure you’re doing them right?
  • Want to aid your postntal recovery so you can heal and get stronger.

Then join me for this educational and fun session on the 7th June 11.15am.

I attended Natasha's Mum2Be classes as well as the Birth Prep classes before having my second baby. I would fully recommend these classes to anyone, especially the Birth Prep classes which helped me prepare mentally for my birth. During my labour the breathing and relaxation taught by Natasha were invaluable, and I believe contributed to the text book birth I experienced.

In my third trimester I completed the breathing and relaxation class with Natasha. The intimate nature of the class made it really comfortable. The class consisted of post birth exercises and stretches plus nutritional advice with scientific reasoning. We then did breathing, stretching and relaxation which included the process and mind-set of a typical physiological birth from home to hospital. Which was really useful as I was able to picture and prepare for what is coming. I am feeling so much better prepared for the birth process after the class and would recommend.

I benefited from the 4th trimester workshop to prepare for Labour and beyond. As a first time mum it was good to have honest advice and tips at this challenging time - I particularly found the breathing techniques very helpful before and during labour. Natasha’s expertise was invaluable but I actually gained so much more because I also made some great friends ☺️ I would recommend this class to any new Mama’s to be!
